  • Basic flush

  • Reinforce the main arch ring

First, generally speaking, if there are cracks in the main arch ring of the bridge, relevant maintenance personnel are required to reinforce the main arch ring. There are two main maintenance methods. One is reinforcement and maintenance of arch back; the other is reinforcement and maintenance of soffit. The choice of maintenance method depends on the water flow below the bridge and the traffic flow above the bridge. In addition, by strengthening the arch ring, it is beneficial to enhance the utilization of the reinforcement material.

First, after completing the reinforcement and repair work of reinforced concrete bridges, corresponding quality inspections should be carried out on the effectiveness of the reinforcement and repair. In other words, it is to control the quality of building materials used in the process of bridge reinforcement and repair. The concrete and steel bars used in bridge reinforcement and repair are required to meet current national requirements.
