Issue
During structural design review, lateral stiffness analysis under wind load combinations showed that several exterior shear walls exhibited insufficient stiffness to meet serviceability drift limits. The lateral deflection under wind loads exceeded acceptable thresholds for occupant comfort and non-structural element integrity.
